The Freedom Of Imagintion

When I was young, we used to ask for toys just to hear the tone of “no”. No clue on the cost or the quality of the toy, we just wanted it because the commercial made it look cool or our friend had it. We had the best of imaginations. We used to play with things that didn’t even exist. We would make living room chairs jet cockpits and our bikes 747s.

My son is in a short order cook phase, so he likes to cook. For pretend-as he always adds. So we made some pizzas last night with construction paper and an old box I got from work.

We had a great time. Granted that time only lasted about ten minutes, but great nonetheless!
