Before today I’ve shared a lot of meals with my son. Usually a few pieces of this, a little of that.

Today I wanted a snack before cooking my dinner.

Chips.

He was already eating tangerines. Two tangerines. He saw me with chips and asked me for some. After you eat those I replied. He watched me eat a few chips and said “daddy put that down, don’t eat it all.” Eat your food then I will share mine I rebutted.

He rushed and ate his snack, kept an eye on me, and proudly announced that he was finished. He then threw his paper plate in the trash and came back with his hand open and out.

He ate more than half of the chips.

Split.
